"For consider your calling, brethren, that there were not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble; but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong, and the base things of the world and the despised God has chosen, the things that are not, so that He may nullify the things that are, so that no man may boast before God." September 2010 prayer letter

After a momentous month for the Johnson clan that found us in New York, Casablanca, Ouagadougou and Mahadaga, we've finally managed to put together a prayer letter.  We've survived the first month of our second term, moved back into our house, and started home-schooling the boys.  So there are plenty of ways that you can pray for us.  Thank you so much for your prayer support, and we hope that these letters can continue to be a useful tool for you to know how to pray for us and our neighbors.  Let's make an impact in Mahadaga together.

Love,

Dale, Florence, Caleb and Joel

  1. So good to hear from you. You are all frequently in my thoughts and always in my prayers.

I always post your newsletteras on the door entering our church fellowship hall.

  2. Dear Dale & Flo,

After reading about Caleb's malaria in yesterday's WSEFC prayer request sheet, I am writing to assure you of my prayers for Caleb and your family. I am very relieved to read that Caleb is doing better.

I was a blessing to read through your Blog!! You have done an amazing job. Thank you Flo for your honesty about the struggles of returning to the place that God has called you to go. Your honesty and obedience inspire me.

School sounds like great fun for your boys! Making cookies, opening the freezer - keep up the good work! Good idea to pass the baton to Dale when you need a break!

Wondering if you had time to squeeze in your massage and haircut before your departure? I hope so.

May God give you the Grace you need for this day.

"And my God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19)
